In September 2007 I was looking for a way to kickstart my photography after a period of inactivity and decided to try a photo a day project inspired by various photobloggers.
As each year came around I wondered whether to continue or not but I found that the daily rhythm just kept things going - perhaps because I had decided to keep it simple but most certainly because I got so much satisfaction and pleasure out of the project.
By the time 2010 approached, I realised that most of my photos were taken after dark partly due to the fact that my day job kept me office bound during daylight for much of the year - especially during the dark Northern European winter. So I decided to concentrate on taking a photo a night.
I decided to take a break in September 2013 and I am now working on some new projects.
