318 | Keizersgracht I have plenty of canal shots so this is very familiar territory except for the processing. I have recently begun taking some bracketed exposures suitable for HDR (just in reserve - in case I ever master the technique and want to go back and rework them in HDR). For now I am just really trying to master the art of getting 3 steady shots. The shots used for this one were made with my camera pushing down on a bicycle saddle. The blur is of course due to using the Lensbaby Composer. There was greyness in the sky - but perhaps not as much as you see here and I would have liked to have been able to process the sky with much lighter and less grey. I really like the way the shadowy areas beneath the trees turned out. I still need to get around to reading up on the processing technique itself - so this one uses the Photomatix defaults to acheive the tonemapping and I used Lightroom (which I understand much better) to fine tune the tones slightly.
